Only Boys Aloud partnership
In March 2026, following a tour to Wales in summer 2025, Only Boys Aloud came on tour to Cornwall with their director Craig Yates. This video is CYC, CYTC and Only Boys Aloud singing Yma O Hyd at a joint concert during their visit. Cornwall Youth Choirs now has a strong connection with Craig and OBA which we plan to grow with our male voices exchange project.
Spotlight
Daisy, one of our CYC alumni, conducting One Short Day from Wicked in a CYC concert. With additional funding, we hope to offer more spotlight sessions, opening it out to all our choirs and external members. This performance is of members from CYC.
Cornwall Teachers Choir
In 2024, Angela Renshaw and Matt Douglas ran Cornwall Teachers Choir, a monthly session for music teachers around Cornwall to come together to sing and learn new warm ups, repertoire and techniques for them to take back to their classrooms. 32 teachers in Cornwall signed up.
Primary Jamboree Feedback
