Top tips for working with KS2

• Start short, and unison – lots of exercises

• Mixture of different genres and eras

• Move to echo songs, call and response and rounds.

• Don’t feel you have to start at the beginning – find the tricky bits and start there

• Play around with part songs

• Add actions or movement!

• Live accompaniment if possible

• Plan for inclusion of all needs and ages - Story maps and visual cues
